Analysis of a Slipknot digipack

This is a digipack by the artist Slipknot. I am analysing this digipak as it is for a very well known band in a similar genre to our chosen artist.
This digipack has eight sides including lyric booklets, track lists and pictures as well as the CD. Each side of the digipack has a different image however they all tie into the theme. On the inside of the digipak there are four panels that consist of a lyric booklet the CD with an image behind it, a panel containing copywrite and record label information as well as an image of the band. On the outside of the digipack there is another image of the band as an album cover, a picture page that relates to the album and a track list. This looks very professional as all images and ideas fit the same idea and the pre-existing  motifs created by the band. The colours used in the digipak are mostly reds black and white, and some blue, this is similar to other albums and photos they have done before this digipak and the theme of dark colours, as seen in a more resent digipack:
Similar to the vast majority of there videos and their photo-shoots they always wear masks and boiler suits which is seen in this digipack as well as seeing the barcode and S symbols seen in the majority of their work.

The colours that are used in their digipacks are often seen in other digipacks in this genre, this is because the dark colours seen will often link to their videos and 'dark' themes that run through there lyrics.
