Digipack and Magazine advert importance

A digipak is a type of packaging for a CD or a DVD. It consists of cardboard panels and panels that can hold either CDs or DVDs. Digipacks are important because it allows fans of artists or people interested in the CD or DVD to get something other than just a CD. Digipacks often contains other things such as additional information such as tracklists, lyrics books as well as pictures of the artist and other pictures that link to the album.

Magazine adverts allow artists to advertise the album as well as show fans and other potential fans what they are releasing a new album. A magazine advert often shows the band name, album title and a picture that links with the cover image. Most if not all magazine adverts also have shops and website where the album can be purchased. They will also often have reviews from other music magazines and record company information.
